PLAN FOR LIVE-IN ACCOMMODATION AT BRIGG SCHOOL CONSIDERED BY TOWN COUNCILLORS

Brigg Town Council has raised no objections to a mobile residential home being sited at a local school to accommodate live-in workers. Their presence will help with site security.
The newest educational establishment in Brigg, the Robert Holme Academy (RHA) is now seeking planning permission for the mobile home behind its premises at Fircroft, 3 Wrawby Road (near the Health Place offices, formerly Glanford Hospital).
Brigg Town Council has been consulted as part of the planning process and its Planning & Environment Committee considered 'the special needs school' application during its latest meeting, held in the Angel Suite Lounge.
North Lincolnshire Council will decide the proposal at some future date - the public consultation period ending on June 9.

Brigg Blog posted a feature in mid-April about the new Robert Holme Academy - named after a well-known Brigg doctor who was a Second World War army medic.
He once lived in the bungalow which has now been converted into a school.
