BRIGG & WOLDS: NEW HOMES PLANNED ON LAND BEHIND WELL-KNOWN PUB & RESTAURANT

Planning permission is now being sought for new homes to be sited behind a well-known pub & restaurant within North Lincolnshire Council's Brigg & Wolds Ward.
An application has been lodged seeking the council's outline approval for the erection four dwellings on land to the rear of The Jolly Miller, Brigg Road, Wrawby.
Details submitted in a supporting statement accompanying this application explain the existing access to the pub car park will be altered to provide a separate access to the proposed dwellings while retaining access to the car park.
The existing one has 24 parking spaces, and the new layout will provide 27.
The site currently comprises an area of 'rough grass' located to the rear of the public house, an area of garaging and the existing car park.
A public consultation period is now under way for this application, following which council planners will make their decision at some future date.
If outline permission is granted, a subsequent one will set out further details of the housing scheme for further consideration by the council.
