BRIGG CENTRE OFFERING FREE TRIALS

A study centre in Brigg is offering free trials to students starting up from now to mid-June 2022.
The Kumon Study Centre in Brigg explains that it helps local children of all ages and ability levels to grow in confidence as well as improving their numeracy and literacy skills.
Kumon suggests this will be of interest to many local parents.

FROM DARREN BURTON, KUMON CENTRE MANAGER

Calling all parents!  Are you worried about the disruption to your child’s learning over the last couple of years due to covid, lockdowns, online learning and all the rest of it?  Did your child find it hard to settle back in when face-to-face lessons resumed at their school?  Do they still sometimes find it hard to concentrate and to maintain their stamina with academic work?  Help is at hand, and you can now give it a try for free!
The Kumon Brigg Study Centre, on Barnard Avenue, has been helping local children grow in confidence as well as improving their maths and English skills for well over 20 years.  (The Kumon maths and English programmes started in Japan over 60 years ago and there are about 600 Kumon centres up and down the UK, so the study programmes are certainly tried and tested.)
Children of all ages and all ability levels from Brigg and the surrounding villages attend the Brigg Kumon centre on Saturday mornings, not only to help develop their numeracy and literacy skills but also to help them improve their stamina and their ability to concentrate for more than just a few minutes, and to boost their confidence too!
The children also do worksheets at home each day to help reinforce their learning and each child has a personalised learning plan to help unlock their potential.  Because the centre’s registered with Ofsted, they can also accept childcare vouchers - and parents who receive benefits such as Universal Credit can now claim back up to 85% of their children’s Kumon fees each month, which could make it as cheap as just £9 per subject per month!
In order to give local parents and children a chance to find out exactly how Kumon works and to see how their personalised study programmes can help any child of any age and any ability level to shine, they’re offering a one-week free trial until mid-June.
We’ve chosen May for this free trial campaign in order to encourage lots of children to get into the daily routine of being a Kumon student while the school year is still in full swing, so that they can then have their smartest summer ever - and start the new school year in September full of confidence too! We know lots of children (and their parents) got pretty fed up of online learning during the lockdowns.  The Kumon programmes have always used more traditional study methods and materials because – quite simply – this works!  Our students use pencils and paper worksheets because this is still how they'll be doing their exams when the time comes, whether these are end-of-year exams, SATs, GCSEs, A-levels or even exams beyond that such as at university.
Our goal for each child is to ensure they have a solid foundation in numeracy and literacy skills before they move on to more challenging work in order to fulfil their potential. Because all children have experienced so much disruption to their learning over the last couple of years, I really do hope lots of local parents will take advantage of this offer and give Kumon a try for free to see how our tried-and-tested, world-class, personalised study programmes can help.
To book a free assessment or for more information, call 01652 802123, email brigg@kumoncentre.co.uk or search for “Kumon Brigg Study Centre” on Facebook and send a message. The location is St Mary's Church Hall, Barnard Avenue, and the centre is open from 9.30am to 11am.
Kumon has already helped more than 20 million children unlock their potential. Could YOUR child be next?
