FIRST HOME GAME OF SEASON FOR BRIGG TOWN


Brigg Town Cricket Club will finally have a home game this weekend.
Five Saturdays since the start of the Lincolnshire League's 2022 season, Brigg will be hosting Horncastle on May 21.
This Supplementary Cup Group Three game will get under way at the Recreation Ground at 1pm, weather permitting.
Former Brigg players, now retired, will be among the spectators.
In Group One of the same competition, Broughton 2nds will be at home to league newcomers Grimoldby.
There will also be a match at Hibaldstow, where Scunthorpe Town 3rds will play Barton Town 2nds in qualifying Group Two.

In Division Two, Hibaldstow have an away game at Holton-le-Clay 2nds.
Saturday morning will see another Ancholme Valley Way Parkrun in Brigg - heading north alongside the river. Competitors for this 5K event will be meeting at 8.45am for a 9am start near the Ancholme Way flyover bridge.
In Mick Walker North Lindsey Cricket League Division Two on Sunday (May 22) Broughton 3rds will be hosting Scunthorpe Town 4ths, while Hibaldstow have home advantage against Outcasts. These games start at 1.30pm.
