Brigg Mayor Coun Brian Parker is to continue in his role as the town's first citizen for the next 12 months.
At the start of Brigg Town Council's annual meeting held in the Angel Suite on Tuesday (May 24) he was unanimously re-elected by fellow councillors to serve a second term.
Coun Carl Sherwood is the Deputy Town Mayor 2022/23.
They both signed letters of acceptance for the civic roles.
Reviewing his initial year as Mayor, Coun Parker thanked his wife Jane for all her support, Brigg & Goole MP Andrew Percy, Town Clerk Kerry McGrath, Mayor's Chaplain Keith Simpson and his eight town councillor colleagues who were all present at Tuesday night's meeting.
Coun Parker said Brigg had a good team and was "getting things done."
Having undertaken fundraising over the past 12 months for the Brigg Town Mayor's Appeal Fund, he presented cheques to local worthy causes selected to benefit.
Brigg Prostate Cancer Care received £1,103 and Brigg Young Carers £881.
Representatives of these groups thanked the Town Mayor.
Coun Parker also presented personal thank-you gifts to the Town Clerk, his Chaplain and to Mrs Parker (seen below).
