Brigg Blog's forecast that live music, markets and the launch of a new shop in Brigg at the weekend would prove popular proved to be correct.
Saturday (February 26) saw people visiting the Throttle Worx motor-cycle accessories and apparel shop on School Court to see what's on offer and meet the staff on its first day.
This coincided with a big attendance for North Lincolnshire Council's monthly Brigg Farmers' Market and adjoining general market in the town centre.
Weather conditions were ideal for browsing the stalls - dry and sunny with the temperature around 50F (10C).
Queues formed at a number of stalls, including Redhill (meat) and Lincolnshire Poacher (cheese).
Saturday night, as expected, saw a sizeable audience for a gig by well-known local singers Rachel Day & Mash (Ian Baxter) at Market Place venue the Woolpack, with many audience members taking to the dance floor during the duo's performance which included many popular tunes from past decades.
