OPPORTUNITIES FOR BRIGG PEOPLE TO MEET LOCAL POLICE & COUNCILLORS

Members of the public can meet local police officers in Brigg and attend a Brigg Town Council meeting chaired by Town Mayor Coun Brian Parker on Tuesday, February 22, 2022


Public consultation will be evident in Brigg town centre today (Tuesday, February 22).
Humberside Police's Brigg Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) has arranged a consultation session in the Market Place involving local officers this afternoon between 1pm and 2pm.
Residents can, if they wish, attend tonight's Brigg Town Council monthly meeting in the Buttercross from 7.15pm, and also a meeting of the Planning & Environment Committee at the same venue (6.45pm).
Members of the public will be welcomed to the council meeting by Town Mayor Coun Brian Parker (pictured above) at the start of proceedings. 'Public Participation' will follow within a few minutes for people wishing to address the session. Members of the public can also opt to sit in the public gallery and listen to the discussions on a range of topics.
The Annual Town Meeting 2022 for Brigg residents - enabling them "to voice any concerns or bring forward ideas for the benefit of the town and its residents" has been arranged for Tuesday, March 15 at 7pm in the Buttercross.
This will be chaired by the Town Mayor. Other elected councillors and staff will be in attendance, and North Lincolnshire Council will be represented.
The agenda will include reports by the town and unitary authorities prior to the public forum.
