BRIGG TOWN FC COULD MOVE UP TO SECOND PLACE TONIGHT


Brigg Town Football Club have the chance to move up to second place in Toolstation Northern Counties East Division One tonight (Wednesday, February 16).
The promotion-chasing Zebras will be hosting Retford FC at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) kicking off at 7.45pm.
Three points for Brigg will move them above North Ferriby (currently second). Retford FC, from North Nottinghamshire, are seventh in the table.
Pip's Kitchen and the Hawthorns bar will be open for refreshments tonight.
League statistics show Brigg are currently the third best supported team in Division One, averaging 277.
The Zebras lead the division in goal-scoring - having managed 110 in 30 league games, which is two more than leaders Hallam.
The division's top scorer this season is Brigg's Scott Phillips, who has 30 league goals (plus four more in cup competitions). Town's Dayle Hutson has scored 18 (15 + 3).
Brigg Town Football Club's game against Retford FC tonight (Wednesday, February 16) is OFF due to  waterlogged conditions, the club has informed us.
