SUNDAY FOOTBALL DOUBLE COMING UP IN BRIGG


There will be morning and afternoon Sunday league football matches played in Brigg tomorrow (February 6).
A local derby will take place at the Recreation Ground between town team Black Bull (from the Wrawby Street sports bar/pub) and the Barnetby United Sunday side (10.30am kick-off).
This will be in Division Three of the Paul Fox Scunthorpe League.
In the same section of the competition, Hibaldstow will be at home to Winterton Rovers.
Also having home advantage will be Broughton WMC against Black Beauty in Division One (11am KO).
Sunday afternoon will see Brigg Town entertaining Lord Nelson in Hull & District Veterans' League Division Four.
Kick-off time is 2pm at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns).
Brigg Town Veterans (pictured above) are leading their division, while Lord Nelson (based in Hull) are fifth.
