MIDWEEK HOME GAME COMING UP AT BRIGG TOWN FC


Brigg Town Football Club have a home match coming up tomorrow night (Wednesday, March 2).
The promotion-seeking Zebras first teamers, who are third in Toolstation Northern Counties East Division One, will welcome second-from-bottom FC Humber United (from Selby) to the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns).
Kick off will be at 7.45pm, with Pip's Kitchen and the Hawthorns bar being open for refreshments.
Brigg Town are the division's highest scoring side with 112 goals netted in 31 league fixtures,
The teams above Brigg in the table - Hallam and North Ferriby - have home fixtures tonight (Tuesday).
The divisional champions at the end of this season will gain automatic promotion, with the next four teams playing off to decide who else goes up to the Premier Division for 2022/2023.
Congratulations go to BroughtoN WMC who are through to the final of the Challenge Cup, organised by the Paul Fox Scunthorpe Football League. On Sunday (February 27) they beat Black Beauty 5-3.
Broughton will now meet Mulligans, who defeated FC Showman 3-0 in the weekend's other Challenge semi-final.
Barnetby United's Sunday side lost 2-1 at Blyborough in an Ireson Cup semi at the weekend.
