'PERFECT 10' PERFORMERS IN BRIGG FEATURE ON NEW LINCOLNSHIRE SPORT WEBSITE

Brigg cricket is featuring in a new sports blog/website compiled by well-known Broughton player Neil Simpson. More posts will be forthcoming over the coming weeks and months.
Neil explains that The North Lindsey Cricketer is preserving local cricketing history for the present and future.
Here's a link to the site which, like Brigg Blog, is part of the Blogger domain.
Neil's latest post - Perfect 10! - looks at northern Lincolnshire cricketers who have achieved the rate feat of taking all 10 wickets in the same innings, including one who did so for Brigg Town at the Rec Ground and a visiting player who had done likewise at the same venue some years earlier.
Another post - The Earliest North Lincolnshire Cricket Clubs - mentions the summer sport in Brigg and Scawby (played in the village's picturesque Park with families from our town going down to watch).
A post called Cricket on the Map looks at other village grounds, including Elsham and Saxby-All-Saints.
Brigg Blog has chipped in over recent weeks with some information and a picture or two from our sporting archives to assist Neil's researches.
If you have any info or old pictures you feel may be of interest to The North Lindsey Cricketer, please email neilsimpson1986@sky.com
