BRIGG & WOLDS WARD: DECISION TO BE MADE ON PLANNED NEW HOMES

A Brigg & Wolds Ward scheme aimed at providing new housing will be among the applications considered by North Lincolnshire Council's Planning Committee at its monthly meeting, to be held tomorrow.
Outline planning permission is being sought to erect four detached dwellings with appearance, landscaping and access reserved for subsequent consideration (part of an access roadway having been completed) at Elsham House, Brigg Road, Wrawby.
The committee, comprising councillors from across the district, will be meeting on Wednesday (February 9) in Church Square House, on Scunthorpe High Street, from 2pm.
Options open to the committee include granting permission, refusing to give approval or holding a site visit before reaching a decision at a later date.
North Lincolnshire Council recently gave planning consent to social landlord Ongo to create 30 parking spaces on 'amenity land' near George Street and Lilywood Road, Broughton.
The authority has granted permission for a store building at Bennett Potatoes, Station Road, Sturton.
It has also approved plans to erect a single-storey rear extension (including demolition of existing) at 4 Messingham Lane, Scawby.
West Lindsey District Council has granted permission for proposed extensions & alterations to a dwelling at 18 Vicarage Lane, Grasby.
This Gainsborough-based authority is now considering an application for change of use, extension and alteration of a garage block to form a two-bed holiday cottage at North End Cottage, North End Lane, South Kelsey. A decision has yet to be made by council planners.
