Brigg Town Council will be discussing a range of topics at its monthly meeting later this week, including future environmental projects.
There will be an update on providing boxes for bats and owls, and councillors will also consider the national Plant a Tree for the (Queen's Platinum) Jubilee scheme. Future tree planting was the subject of two recent Brigg Blog posts.
The council will "review and approve Grammar School Road allotment fees for 2022."
A verbal report will also be given on North Lincolnshire Council issues involving Brigg by one or more of our area's local ward representatives on the unitary authority.
The Town Council will be meeting on the upper floor of the Market Place's Buttercross on Tuesday (February 22) from 7.15pm. Access will be via the side door, NOT the front entrance. A lift is available in addition to the stairs.
This meeting is open to interested local people, and one of the early agenda items is Public Participation during which members of the public are invited to "address the Council" about issues they wish to be considered.
All those attending are asked to wear masks unless exempted from doing so.
The public may also attend a meeting of the Planning & Environment Committee on Tuesday, in the same room, from 6.45pm. Members of the committee will be considering the latest planning applications submitted in Brigg, including one relating to the Sir John Nelthorpe Upper School.
