Anglian Water has issued an update about its emergency repairs in Brigg near the A18 on Wrawby Street.
A water main burst over the weekend, adjacent to this busy main road, resulting in 4-way temporary traffic lights being employed throughout yesterday. There were lengthy traffic queues and delays for drivers.
At 9am today (Tuesday, February 22) Anglian Water replied to Brigg Blog's request for an update as follows:
"Repairs are still ongoing this morning. The repair, once the team had reached the pipe, was a little more complicated that originally expected. We are hopeful this will be completed this morning and hoping to do reinstatement of the road this afternoon."
