SHOPLIFTING & PUBLIC ORDER OFFENCES AMONG LATEST BRIGG CRIMES

The latest Brigg crime figures have now been released for Humberside Police through www.police.uk
They show 36 crimes, in a range of categories, reported across the town during September 2021.
Thirteen of these took place within the town centre, there were seven others on the Springbank estate and seven on Island Carr.
The town centre crimes included public order and shoplifting.
September saw a month-by-month reduction in overall crime - 36 compared with 41 during August.
There were 38 reported Brigg crimes in July, 54 in June, 58 in May, 57 in April, 47 in March, 36 in February and 34 in January 2021.
So that averages out at well under two crimes a day so far this year, with some months averaging little more than one.
