REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY 2021 IN BRIGG - POPPY WREATHS LAID IN TRIBUTE

Brigg people supported the town's Remembrance Sunday 2021 commemorations in large numbers today (November 14).
The parade, comprising members of local organisations and civic leaders, formed up on Station Road (adjoining Hewson House) and marched at 9.30am to St John's Church for the Service of Remembrance.
The parade then re-formed on Wrawby Street and proceeded via Queen Street  to the Monument war memorial where many poppy wreaths were laid, the last post was played and the two-minute silence observed at 11am.
Young people belonging to many groups, clubs and organisations in the town attended, together with pupils from Sir John Nelthorpe School and the Vale Academy.
Fine and mild weather graced this year's commemorations, which were organised by Brigg Town Council.
These 23 pictures all show today's wreath-laying. Above: The Brigg & Wolds Ward representatives on North Lincolnshire Council - Couns Nigel Sherwood, Carl Sherwood and Rob Waltham.
