'DEADWOOD' REMOVAL PROPOSED IN BRIGG

An application has been submitted to undertake pruning to give clearance to a dwelling and removal of deadwood on a beech tree which is subject to a Tree Preservation Order.
The location is 14 Bluebell Grove, which is on a housing development close to Newlands and the Vale Academy.
North Lincolnshire Council is now considering this application, and Brigg Town Council will have an opportunity to comment, if it wishes, as part of the planning process.
Council planners have yet to notify a decision on an application in Broughton, where permission is being sought to create 30 parking spaces on what's described as amenity land near George Street and Lilywood Road.
Ongo Homes, the local social landlord, wants to create three parking areas providing 11, 12 and seven spaces, all with access onto George Street.
Ongo explains: "The areas are currently laid out as spare open plan amenity space (grassed) adjacent to the properties on George Street."
West Lindsey District Council has received a planning application seeking permission for a single-storey side extension at The Willows, Owmby Road, Searby. The authority's decision is awaited.
