FIRE-FIGHTERS ATTEND SCENE OF ROAD TRAFFIC COLLISION IN BRIGG

Someone we met recently in Brigg reminded us that the town's fire station beside the A18 near the Old Courts Road traffic lights is looking for more part-time firefighters to join the ranks.
A second reminder to give this on-going recruitment a mention came over the weekend when we noted local fire-fighters in the Remembrance Sunday parade.
Then, at about 10pm on Monday evening (November 15) the Humberside Fire & Rescue Service attended an incident on Bigby Street, Brigg.
This was later described as a two-vehicle road traffic collision. Fire-fighters made the vehicles safe and cleared debris from the road. Police and the ambulance service also attended.
Local fire-fighters undertake important roles in the community, and are paid for their efforts.
If you are interested in joining the service or know someone else who may be keen to do so, use this link to access further information...
