Christmas is coming and the fact that so many people are actively seeking presents for friends & family should help boost the attendance at Brigg Farmers' Market this Saturday (November 27, 2021).
Stalls erected for North Lincolnshire Council, the local markets authority, will be selling a wide range of goods and produce in packets, bottles and jars with 'use by' or 'best before' dates well beyond December 25.
The Saturday general market, offering fruit & veg, flowers and fish, will also be held from 8am through to mid-afternoon.
Most shoppers calling at the markets will go on to visit local shops and perhaps eateries or other businesses in the town centre.
The local Pancreatic Cancer Action group will be present at Saturday's market, raising awareness of this disease and accepting donations. Shoppers' support will be appreciated.
The scheduled performance by a band at the Woolpack pub in Brigg on Saturday evening has now been cancelled.
