GO-AHEAD GIVEN TO BUILD NEW PROPERTY IN BRIGG

Planning permission has been granted in Brigg for a new domestic property to be built near the edge of the town.
A detailed planning application was submitted which set out the proposed access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale of the dwelling on land adjacent to 56 Bigby High Road.
Outline planning permission had been granted by a nationally-appointed planning inspector who, after conducting an appeal, overturned North Lincolnshire Council's original refusal to give approval.
Consulted about the detailed application as part of the planning process, Brigg Town Council's Planning & Environment Committee informed North Lincolnshire planners that while the Town Council has no objections to this application. However, it had concerns that a hedge may be removed "which would have a negative impact on the local wildlife, in particular the hedgehogs that are known to be in this area."

North Lincolnshire Council has since granted detailed planning permission through 'approval of reserved matters'.
