There were mixed fortunes for the Brigg, Barnetby and Hibaldstow teams playing in the Paul Fox Scunthorpe Football League yesterday (Sunday, November 21)
At Brigg Recreation Ground, the town's Black Bull pub side lost 4-3 when hosting Blyborough United in Division Three.
The same section of the competition saw Barnetby United triumph 5-0 in a local derby against Hibaldstow, played at the railway village's Silver Street venue.
Hibaldstow's ground was being used by FC Recoveries who lost 9-0 to Ashby Mill Road in Division Four.
Broughton WMC, who play in the top flight, had a Sunday off from league action.
