Well-known Brigg charity fundraiser Andrew Markham sent us this picture, highlighting the fact that World Pancreatic Cancer Day was yesterday (November 19).
Andrew ('Sass' to his friends) is a member of a Brigg group which raises money for national efforts to counter this disease and raise awareness of it among the public.
November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.
The Coronavirus emergency has affected fundraising for various worthy causes, including Pancreatic Cancer Action, particularly the lockdown periods.
Fewer people are out and about to give generously to charity collectors, and some of the outlets, including pubs, which they visit to collect donations are currently closed.
