Another part of the extensive Angel building refurbishment programme in Brigg town centre has now been completed.
Two digital display screens - pictured here - have gone into service near the rear entrance.
They provide local people and visitors with information about the range of services available within the building, provided by North Lincolnshire Council, the Town Council and Brigg Heritage Centre.
The screens - with a 'rolling scroll' ability to provide a range of material - will come into their own when the Coronavirus emergency is over and 'footfall' within the town centre returns to normal levels.
They will prove particularly useful to people who have paid and displayed in the rear car park and are setting off to look around the town.
There used to be some traditional glass cases fixed to the Angel's rear wall, in which printed information was displayed.
These were removed some time ago, with Brigg Town Council instead pinning agendas for future meetings in the window of the nearby Angel Suite Rotunda (the conservatory-like structure).
The display screens would now seem to offer a modern, alternative way of putting this information in the public domain.
