FOOD HYGIENE RATINGS ANNOUNCED FOR NEW ALDI STORE IN BRIGG AND 5 OTHER LOCAL PREMISES

The new Aldi store in Brigg received a routine visit from North Lincolnshire Council staff and has been rated for food hygiene.
The local authority, which takes part in a national food hygiene ratings scheme, has awarded Aldi's Bridge Street store five stars for food hygiene - rating it 'Very Good'. The store opened in late September.
Council inspectors take into account food hygiene & safety, structural compliance and confidence in management.
Also given five-star ratings in the latest round of inspections were the Lak Thai catering business in Brigg and Starbucks Coffee at Elsham.
Dunhams Bakery, on Bridge Street, Brigg, was awarded four stars - "Good" - and four stars were also given to the Hibaldstow Academy Breakfast Club, Hopfield, Hibaldstow, and the Whistle and Flute, on Railway Street, Barnetby.
This national scheme is overseen by the Food Standards Agency.
It tells the public: "The scheme helps you choose where to eat out or shop for food by giving you clear information about the businesses’ hygiene standards. We run the scheme in partnership with local authorities in England, Wales and Northern Ireland."
