A new Brigg housing development is taking shape on land between Almond Grove and Atherton Way - not far from the Donkey Park children's play area.
The name suggested for this development is Betula Way - Betula being the Latin name for birch.
Planning permission has been granted for five dwellings, with vehicular access off Almond Grove.
These pictures were taken yesterday (Sunday, November 22) from the play area and the Ancholme Way bridge - looking across the Lidl store car park.
Brigg has long been a very popular place to live, as demonstrated by the number of applications submitted to build new properties or to add extensions to existing homes.
