NEW BRIGG BAR PLAN: PUBLIC CONSULTATION PERIOD ABOUT TO END

The public consultation period for a development scheme which is aiming to create a new licensed bar in Brigg town centre is about to end.
Planning permission and listed building consent are being sought to turn the ground floor of the former HSBC bank premises in the Market Place into a bar. The scheme also involves creating apartments on the upper floor, and office space.
North Lincolnshire Council, our local planning authority, established a public consultation period, which ends tomorrow (Thursday, November 19). The local authority will then decide both applications at a future date.
Ten people have made their views known to the council about this application - the majority of the comments being in support of the scheme.

The proposal to create the new bar continues to prove a talking point within the town.
