NEW-LOOK BRIGG MATTERS MAGAZINE

The latest issue of the Brigg Matters glossy magazine has now been published with copies being distributed to households and businesses in the town - and nearby communities - by volunteers.
The not-for-profit publication, which is FREE, has not appeared for some months amid the Coronavirus emergency - this being described as 'enforced suspension'. Many local people have missed it and will be pleased to see the magazine's return.
In the latest 'Special Issue' there's an in-depth feature by chairman Ken Harrison about well-known sporting veteran Col Mumby who some of us known as The Oldest Winger in Town!

Paul Hildreth, another member of the committee, looks at new shops and businesses, and also dips a toe into the water of historic wells across Brigg - an interesting topic.
Brigg Matters - 'a local community enterprise' - has changed to a smaller and handier format; what the newspaper industry used to call 'stitch & trim quarterfold.'
Brigg Blog and Brigg Matters operate separately - the magazine being managed by a committee made up of volunteers (and we are not among them).

Established in 2007, Brigg Blog is our own venture. It's very much a 'one man band' but with valued contributions by local folk from time to time, including Ken Harrison with his trusty camera.
