Brigg Town Football Club has a home match coming up tonight (Wednesday, November 4) which will also see last orders being called for the last time at all local licenced premises before Cornavirus emergency lockdown comes into effect at one minute past midnight.
Yorkshire side Worsborough Bridge Athletic will be the visitors for a 7.45pm kick-off at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns).
Social distancing measures will be in place throughout the ground - before, during and after the game. The clubhouse bar will be open.
Town are third in ToolStation Northern Counties East Division One, while Worsborough are third from bottom.
This will be the last opportunity to watch the Zebras in action for four weeks, as football at Brigg's level (and below) is banned during Lockdown 2 which is due to end on December 2.
Last orders in Brigg bars tonight will be 9.30pm - ahead of closure at 10pm.
A huge quantity of real ale and some pub food will now be thrown away across the UK, as it won't keep for a month. So some major pub chains are selling beer at 99p a pint at their outlets, including some in Brigg.
Charlotte Green, from TradeWaste.co.uk, says: “Everything needs to go before Thursday – so get down the pub and buy a pint, or order some food from a local restaurant. Everything you buy this week helps them, and helps save it going down the drain or to landfill."
