THREE PROPERTY EXTENSIONS APPROVED IN AND NEAR BRIGG

A proposal to extend a domestic property in Brigg has now been approved by North Lincolnshire Council.
Permission was sought to erect a first-floor extension above the existing garage to provide additional living accommodation at 11 Poppyfield Way, located on the modern estate adjoining Newlands.
A North Lincolnshire Council assessment report recommended that approval should be given, noting the extension to this detached property would be positioned on the northern side of the dwelling, above the garage, to provide two additional bedrooms.
Brigg Town Council was consulted about these plans and raised no objections.
The North Lincolnshire authority has also granted planning permission to erect an extension and alterations to provide additional accommodation at first-floor level, including balcony, proposed garden store and carport with playroom above, at 2 Russet Lane, Wrawby.
Approval has also been given to erect a single-storey extensions to the front and rear of 8 Labrador Drive, Broughton.
Council planners are now considering an application seeking permission to demolish the current dwelling and erect a new one at Poachers Rest, Station Road, Sturton. This is within Scawby parish, and a decision has yet to be made by council planners.
