BRIGG PUBLIC TRANSPORT CHANGES THIS WEEKEND

The Independent Brigg Line Rail Group (IBLRG) has supplied details of temporary changes to public transport which will apply in our area this weekend.
The timetabled passenger train service is cancelled on Saturday September 25 due to planned engineering work, the IBLRG explains.
However, people will still be able to get from B to C (Brigg to Cleethorpes) if not from A to B! They will also be able to reach Kirton Lindsey, Gainsborough, Retford, Worksop and Sheffield.
A replacement bus service will substitute for Northern's scheduled trains running between Gainsborough and Cleethorpes via Brigg, Barnetby and Habrough.
The group says buses will leave Brigg railway station (near the metal auction shed) bound for Barnetby, Grimsby and Cleethorpes, at 9.47am, 1.34pm and 5.30pm.
Replacement buses heading for Gainsborough via Kirton Lindsey will leave Brigg station at 11.19am, 3.20pm and 7.20pm.
Please note that the bus departure times differ from the timetabled trains they will be replacing.
Engineering work is being undertaken between the small Grimsby Docks station and the end-of-the line Cleethorpes terminus.
