BRIGG BLOG PREVIEWS LOCAL CRICKET THIS WEEKEND & BROUGHTON BURN 10K RUN

Brigg Town cricketers have already completed their Lincolnshire League season, but Hibaldstow and both the Broughton sides will be in action this Saturday (September 4).
Broughton's first teamers will be involved in what might well be seen as their most important Division One fixture of the campaign.
With promotion to the top flight their aim, third-in-the-table Broughton entertain leaders Outcasts at the Scawby Road ground.
Elsewhere in Division One, bottom-placed Hibaldstow journey to Lincoln for a game at Hartsholme.
Broughton 2nds, who are next to bottom in Division Two, are away to leaders Barton Town. These games all begin at 1pm.
Brigg Town are currently 10th in Division Three which comprises 14 teams.
Some sides will be in action on September 11 and 12 - the final weekend of the Lincs League programme.

The Broughton Burn 10k running event, in aid of charity, will take place in the town this Sunday (September 5) from 10am to 1pm, along various streets. Registration will be carried out at the Phil Grundy Sports Centre, Scawby Road for this now well-established and popular event.  There will be some road closures in place for this major Broughton event.
