BIG HOME GAME COMING UP FOR BRIGG TOWN FC



Brigg Town Football Club have a very important home fixture coming up on Saturday (September 4) and there's also an interesting local derby in prospect as the Scunthorpe Saturday League season kicks off.
Free-scoring Brigg Town will be hosting another of the top sides, Nostell Miners Welfare, at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) with a 3pm kick-off.
The Zebras, who have netted 18 goals in their last three games in Toolstation Northern Counties East Division One, will be keen to cement top spot in the table.
Pips Kitchen and the licensed bar will be open to provide refreshments for spectators on Saturday.
The opening day of the 2021/2022 EC Surfacing Scunthorpe & District League season features a local derby in Division One with Barnetby United welcoming Briggensians to the the village's Silver Street Ground (3pm KO).

Briggensians Reserves - a new team - will not be in action in Scunthorpe & District Division Three tomorrow against Santon. Also postponed is Brigg Town Development's away fixture at Skegness Reserves in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League Premier.
