A children's play area in Brigg may become the latest location in the town to get a CCTV camera in the fight against crime.
When Brigg Town Council holds its next meeting, elected representatives will consider whether to approve the purchase of CCTV for the Donkey Park between Almond Grove and Atherton Way, on the edge of the Newlands housing estate.
Incidents of anti-social behaviour and vandalism have been reported here over a lengthy period.
The recreational area is equipped with a range of play equipment.
Brigg Town Council will discuss additional CCTV provision during its meeting on Tuesday, September 28, from 7.15pm in the Buttercross.
This session is open to interested members of the public. Those attending should use the side door and take the stairs or lift to the upper floor. The council says masks need to be worn until people have taken their seats ahead of the meeting.
Among items listed on the agenda is Public Participation, when residents are invited to address the Town Council on topics of interest to them.
For some time the council has been liaising with the North Lincolnshire unitary authority to extend local CCTV coverage, examples being surveillance of the Millennium Green and along the riverside footpath leading from the County Bridge.
Camera footage can help to identify offenders and the presence of cameras may help to deter people from engaging in criminal activity.
Footage from cameras positioned across North Lincolnshire is monitored in a central control centre.
