Local resident Barry Shippey kindly sent Brigg Blog pictures and video footage of flooding near the River Ancholme he observed over the weekend.
Making an evening walk at the time, he says it looks like a burst pipe "filling the fields just under the bridge from the Waters Edge path going towards Castlethorpe Bridge."
He adds: "Anglian Water were in attendance when I got back after walking to Broughton Bridge and back."
Brigg Blog approached the company on Sunday, requesting details about the cause and measures taken to resolve the issue.
Anglian Water replied yesterday (Monday) saying: "We did have a burst water main in the area over the weekend. This has since been repaired and the team are still on-site to ensure the area is reinstated."
