A Brigg Food Fest is being organised for a very appropriate date - Lincolnshire Day.
The town centre event will take place on Friday, October 1 - this being the annual date for celebrating and showcasing what our historic county has to offer, including locally-made food.
North Lincolnshire Council, whose responsibilities include markets and tourism, is now busy co-ordinating the Food Fest.
