PLANS FOR NEW HOUSING IN THE BRIGG AREA KEEP ON COMING

Brigg and district is seeing plenty of planning applications - mainly relating to building new properties or extending/converting other dwellings.
In addition to those schemes under consideration by North Lincolnshire Council which we've highlighted recently, planning staff at the neighbouring West Lindsey authority are also being kept busy.
GRASBY: Outline permission has been refused to erect five dwellings on land to the south of Clixby Lane. The council said: "The development would not contribute towards a safe transport network for pedestrians or vehicular movement when considering the impact on Clixby Lane and  surrounding highway network."
NORTH KELSEY: Permission has been granted for the removal of existing stores buildings and to erect an extension at Starholme Livery, Carr Road.
SEARBY: Approval is being sought for change of use of former outbuildings into a self-contained dwelling, including demolition of an existing lean-to covered area, erection of two extensions, boundary wall, access and other alterations to form windows and doors, on land at Chestnut Farmhouse, Main Street.
NORTH KELSEY: Permission is being sought to sub-divide a barn conversion into two dwellings and to retain associated alterations at Bruff Barn, Southfield Road.
NORTH KELSEY MOOR: Approval has been given for a new field access on land to the north of Station Road.
