FREE SCHOOL MEALS BEING OFFERED BY BRIGG PUB OVER HALF TERM TO FAMILIES

A community-minded Brigg hostelry is offering FREE school meals over half term.
The Woolpack, in the Market Place, says: "We understand the difficulties caused by this pandemic and we don’t want to see families go through any more of these difficulties, and we certainly don’t want children to go without meals this half term.
"We are offering free lunch boxes to any family that qualifies for free school meals in term time."
The Woolie is asking parents to message or call to express their interest and order children's lunch boxes.
It explains that the service will run Monday to Friday during the half term week, and that boxes can be collected between 10am and 2pm from the premises.
Lunch boxes will be filled with:

  • Sandwiches (ham or cheese)
  • Crisps
  • Fruit juice
  • Piece of fruit
  • Chocolate chip cookie
