Brigg Town Football Club will be keen to extend an impressive unbeaten start to the league season on Saturday (October 17).
The Zebras host Retford FC in ToolStation Northern Counties East Division One at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) kicking off at 3pm.
The visitors from North Nottinghamshire are expected to be supported at the game, as there's the option to take a direct train from Retford to Brigg station on Saturday. Details of times appear in the graphic below, kindly provided by The Independent Brigg Line Rail Group which campaigns for greater use of local trains.
Brigg Town are fourth in the table, having won three and drawn one of their opening four league fixtures; Retford are 10th.
Pips Kitchen will be serving a range of meals in the Hawthorns clubhouse, and the licensed bar will be open for business.
Brigg Town Reserves will also be in action on October 17, visiting Lincoln United Development Team in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League Premier (3pm).
In the EC Surfacing Scunthorpe & District Football League tomorrow, Briggensians have a Division Two home game at Brigg Recreation Ground against Crowle Colts Development, while Barnetby United Reserves host Scotter United Reserves at Silver Street (both games kicking off at 3pm). In Division One, Barnetby's first teamers are away to Scunthorpe side Brumby.
