BRIGG GRANT TO HELP WORTHY CAUSE

Volunteers in Brigg are supporting a campaign aimed at eradicating a potentially life-threatening and paralysing disease - polio. As in past years, Brigg Rotary Club will be taking part in Purple4Polio.
Purple crocus flowers will the planted on verges across Brigg, to spring into life ahead of next Spring, and Brigg Town Council has made a £245 grant, following an application by local Rotarians.
When people are inoculated against polio, purple dye is applied to mark the occasion. Rotarians across the globe raise funds to support the initiative.
