BRIGG FOOTBALLERS CONTINUE FINE START TO THE SEASON



Brigg Town Football Club's unbeaten record in ToolStation Northern Counties East Division One continued yesterday (Saturday, October 24) with another away win, but this time the Zebras left it late.
They journeyed to Rotherham to meet Parkgate and won 4-3 - Steve McCarron's second goal of the game, four minutes from full-time, securing all three points.
Also on the mark for Brigg, who had been two down at the interval, were Jack Bowskin (penalty) and Jon Oglesby.
Brigg remain third in the table but have played fewer games than the sides above them.
Undefeated Town have won six and drawn one of their opening league matches - their best start to a campaign for many years.

Brigg Town Reserves lost 3-2 when hosting Wyberton at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League Premier.
