Fundraising continues in Brigg & district to help four local youngsters secure a trip of a lifetime to the Far East.
Brigg Explorer Scouts Millie Leahy, Alex Bennett, Theo Price and Oliver Woodliffe, who are members of the 1st and 2nd Brigg Group, are keen to attend the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea next year.
Their latest effort - a Mother’s Day afternoon tea, pictured here - raised more than £600.
Brigg Town Mayor Coun Brian Parker went along to offer his support.
The next major fundraiser will be a chain-store clothing and fashion show offering "bargain clothes for all seasons - smart to casual."
There will be no "seconds" - all garments will be "perfect" and include many brand names at bargain prices.
The event will be held at Broughton Village Hall, through Lincs Fashions, on Friday, May 6, from 7.30pm.
Tickets, costing £5, include refreshments. Message or call Louise on 07830 427169.
Our thanks go to Tamsin Bennett for supplying these pictures of the afternoon tea.
There was a really big turn-out at Brigg & District Servicemen's Club for a quiz night in February, raising funds for the Jamboree visit.
