BRIGG TOWN FOOTBALLERS AT HOME ON FINAL SATURDAY OF THE REGULAR SEASON

 

Brigg Town Football Club - already assured of a promotion play-off semi-final place - complete the regular season programme with a home game tomorrow (Saturday, April 9).
The Zebras will be hosting Yorkshire side Worsborough Bridge Athletic at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) in Toolstation Northern Counties East Division One (3pm kick-off).
Pip's Kitchen and the licensed bar will be open for refreshments.
Third-placed Brigg have so far netted an impressive 130 goals in 39 league fixtures.
Only champions Hallam (already promoted) have scored more (144).
Brigg striker Scott Phillips has managed 36 league goals - the most by any player in Division One.
The Zebras will be hosting Harrogate Railway on Saturday, April 16 in the all-important play-off semi, with a big crowd anticipated.
Brigg Town Development will be in Grimsby taking on Nunsthorpe Tavern in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League Premier tomorrow. The Devolopment team lost 7-2 to Lincoln Moorlands Railway on Tuesday night.
Only one match involving our local teams is coming up this Saturday (April 9) in the EC Surfacing Scunthorpe & District League.
It's an interesting game in Division One with third-placed Barnetby United hosting unbeaten leaders College Wanderers at Silver Street (3pm).
