Brigg Town Council has two meetings coming up on Tuesday (April 26) both of which are open to interested members of the public. Woodbine Park is one item listed for consideration.
The Planning & Environment Committee will meet from 6.45pm to consider the town's latest planning applications, including the proposed erection of 16 dwellings on the former Resource Centre site off Horstead Avenue.
This session will be followed at 7.15pm by the April meeting of Brigg Town Council.
Public Participation is an early item on the agenda, with residents being invited to address the authority.
Later in the meeting, Environmental Issues will include receiving information about Woodbine Park, with councillors being asked to "resolve matters arising."
This park, near South View Avenue, has a children's play area (with equipment). The area of grass near to Preston Drive is being re-purposed to provide new allotments, replacing those on Grammar School Road.
An application for grant assistance will also be considered during Tuesday's meeting, and a verbal report received from the North Lincolnshire Council Brigg & Wolds Ward representatives (Coun Rob Waltham and Couns Carl & Nigel Sherwood).
The venue for both meetings is Room S02 of the Angel building in the town centre.
This room is located on the top floor and overlooks the Market Place.
The picture above shows councillors and staff meeting in this room last month - the first time they had used it for this purpose.
Members of the public wishing to attend on Tuesday evening need to use the rear archway (pictured below) off the car park and proceed through the covered courtyard to the entry door (far left) which adjoins stairs and a lift.
Brigg Town Council no longer meets in the Angel Suite and the function venue's nearby Rotuna entrance is NOT used to access Room S02.
