BRIGG AREA BUS TIMETABLE CHANGES ABOUT TO START

A Hornsbys bus in Brigg on April 15, 2022

Hornsbys will be making some changes to bus services it provides in Brigg & district from Monday (April 18).
The main changes relate to the X4 service operated by the Ashby-based company.
We advise public transport users to check online ahead of any journeys they plan to make from Monday aboard services 4, X4 and 94.
This applies to people living in Brigg, Broughton, Castlethorpe, Scawby, Scawby Brook, Wrawby, Barnetby, Melton Ross, Kirmington, Sturton, Hibaldstow, Redbourne and Kirton Lindsey.
We should stress that Hornsbys will continue to operate a frequent service linking Brigg and Scunthorpe via Broughton.
Further information about the alterations can be viewed online at www.hornsbytravel.co.uk
To view and/or download the new timetables operating from April 18, visit https://hornsbytravel.co.uk/buses.php where they are all listed by service number.

Outlining the reasons for alterations to various services in North Lincolnshire, the company mentions several factors including rising fuels costs, driver shortages and passenger number not returning to pre-pandemic levels.
