BRIGG FOOTBALL MATCHES INCLUDE A TOP TWO ENCOUNTER

 

Brigg and Barnetby will see matches in the EC Surfacing Ltd Scunthorpe & District Football League tomorrow (Saturday, April 2) kicking off at 3pm.
Third-placed Barnetby United will be hosting Limestone Rangers in a Division One game at Silver Street.
At Brigg Recreation Ground, Briggensians Reserves will be playing Appleby-Frodingham Reserves in Division Three.
In Division Two, Barnetby United Reserves are away to Beckwood Rovers.

Keen to secure home advantage in the end-of-season play-offs yet to come, Brigg Town FC will be away to Dronfield (Derbyshire) in Toolstation Northern Counties East Division One.
Brigg Town Development journey to play Skegness Town Reserves in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League Premier.

Brigg Town Veterans have an interesting home game coming up at the EC Surfacing Stadium on Sunday (April 3), meeting Springhead Highway in Division Four of the Hull & District League (2pm KO). Brigg top the table and Springhead are second. So the result of this match will be important in terms of the championship.

Broughton WMC have a Sunday morning away fixture coming up against Ashby FC in the Paul Fox Scunthorpe League.

Saturday morning (April 2) will see the next Ancholme Valley Way Parkrun taking place in and near Brigg, from 9am. Entry is free. Full details can be viewed here, together with the results of last week's run on March 26.
