BRIGG GROUP NETS A WELCOME GRANT

Welcome community grants totalling more than £7,500 have been awarded to organisations in Brigg, Wrawby and Redbourne.
North Lincolnshire Council receives applications for assistance from its Community Grant Fund.
Grants to 14 individuals and groups across the sizeable area served by the unitary authority were recently agreed.
Brigg Syndicate Angling Club is to receive £4,708 to help with Manley Gardens pond improvements which include specialist platforms and improved general access.
Wrawby Parish Council gets £1,050 towards the cost of connecting a footpath at the village playing field from Vicarage Avenue to Vicarage Gardens, and an additional £585 to enable the purchase and installation of a defibrillator to be sited to be sited on Bakersfield. These machines, providing electric current, are used to help people with life-threatening cardiac problems.
Redbourne Parish Council will get £1,300 towards the purchase and installation of a radar speed sign for the village.
The council's Community Revenue Grant Programme is open to non-profit-making organisations with social aims.
