There will be many market stalls to browse and music to enjoy in Brigg this Saturday (April 23).
North Lincolnshire Council's monthly farmers' market will be taking place in the town centre from 8.30am until mid-afternoon - items on offer from the stalls including bread, meat, cheese, cakes, locally-made beer and jam. Operating alongside will be the general Saturday market (fruit & veg, flowers and fish).
Saturday night will see The Peacekeeperz taking to the stage at the Woolpack from 8.45pm. Free admission - all welcome.
When they performed a gig at this Market Place venue last summer we noted: "Many people took to the stage while the rock band performed covers of well-known hits from decades past."
Vocalist & guitarist Dean Fox will be covering some great hits from the 1960s onwards when he appears at the town centre's Lord Nelson tomorrow evening.
Saturday night will also see a disco & karaoke at the Dying Gladiator, Bigby Street, and music at the Black Bull and the Britannia, both on Wrawby Street.
Singer Leah Marie will be performing at Broughton Workingmen's Club tomorrow evening, with rock & indie covers band The Reach doing likewise at the Red Lion tonight.
Tonight (Friday) the Woolpack has a disco & karaoke session, while Pizza de Angelo will be offering a pop-up food service at the Yarborough Hunt, Bridge Street, from 5pm to 8.30pm. Pre-order with your name and order collecting time by call or text to 07429 011577.
Brigg & District Servicemen's Club, Coney Court, will be the venue for a country music night with local singer Darren Busby on Friday, May 6 (from 7.30pm). This is a Brigg District Lions Club event and tickets cost £6.50p.
