NEW HOLIDAY COTTAGES PLANNED TO HELP MEET DEMAND IN BRIGG AREA

New holiday accommodation is planned in the Brigg area.
North Lincolnshire Council is now considering an application seeking planning permission to erect holiday cottages with associated stores and garages on land adjacent to 87 Redbourne Road, Hibaldstow.
Seven 'residential units' are proposed - six being new builds.
Two local businesses have already informed local authority planners that they fully support this proposal - one pointing out considerable demand for accommodation from people wishing to visit the district, and also the likely benefit to the village pub and other local 'food establishments'.
Also submitted in Hibaldstow is a proposed extension and garage, and additional alterations, for 57 Prestworth House, Station Road.
North Lincolnshire Council will rule, in due course, on an application seeking approval for a single-storey oak-framed orangery extension to The Coach House adjacent to The Mount, off the B1208, Brigg Road, Castlethorpe.
Approval has now been given to erect a conservatory to the rear of Grange Cottage, Main Street, Cadney, and to erect a single-storey side and rear extension joining the existing house to a garage at 3-5 Rossleigh, Mill Lane, Broughton.
Permission has also been granted for a two-storey rear extension, replacement carport with subterranean vehicle storage, replacement windows and internal alterations at 17 Wychwood, East End, Kirmington.
West Lindsey District Council is considering an application for proposed two-storey side and single-storey rear extensions, following removal of an outbuilding, at 8 Smithy Lane, Bigby. The Gainsborough-based authority will announce its decision in due course.
