BRIGG AND BARNETBY FOOTBALLERS TO MEET IN LOCAL DERBY


Football teams from Brigg and Barnetby meet up in a local derby this weekend.
Barnetby United will host Black Bull in the Paul Fox Scunthorpe League tomorrow (Sunday, April 10).
This Division Three clash will kick off at 10.30am at the village's Silver Street venue.
Barnetby currently occupy second place in the table, while Black Bull (based at Brigg's Wrawby Street pub) are sixth.
Broughton WMC have a Division One fixture tomorrow morning, meeting Black Beauty in West Butterwick.
This sides occupy the bottom two places in the table at present, but a Broughton win tomorrow will move them above Black Beauty.
Brigg Town FC's Veterans are without a game in Hull & District League Division Four.
The divisional leaders will resume their programme on April 17 when they have a home gave against Malt Shovel Selby at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) kicking off at 2pm.
