SATURDAY FOOTBALL PREVIEW: BRIGG TOWN TO DRAW ANOTHER SIZEABLE HOME CROWD

 

Promotion-chasing Brigg Town Football Club will be hoping to add to their points tally and also further improve their goal difference during the home game tomorrow (Saturday, October 9).
Town will host Hull side Hall Road Rangers at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) kicking off at 3pm.
Hallam and Brigg both have 31 points at the top of ToolStation Northern Counties East Division One but the Yorkshire side have the edge on goal difference, although Brigg have a game in hand.
Tomorrow's opposition, Hall Road Rangers, are currently ranked 15th of 21 teams in this division.
Another sizeable crowd is expected tomorrow. Pips Kitchen and the Hawthorns clubhouse bar will be open for refreshments.
Brigg Town Development visit Lincoln Moorlands Railway tomorrow in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League Premier.
Three local sides will be in action in the EC Surfacing Ltd Scunthorpe & District Football League on Saturday (October 9).
Briggensians have a home game at the Rec Ground against Baltic Boys in Johnsons Transport Hospital Cup Group B (3pm).
In Tortank Barton Brotherhood Cup Group B, Barnetby United Reserves will welcome Messingham United to Silver Street (3pm).
Briggensians Reserves will be away to Glenny's in Nev Watson Nursing Cup Group B (3pm). This will be the first outing of the season for newly-formed Briggensians Reserves - yet to take the field in a Division Three match.

Brigg Hockey Club has ladies' and men's league games on the all-weather floodlit pitch at the Rec Ground tomorrow - starting at 11am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3.30pm.
